The insurance function provides the appropriate insurance coverage and protection for all aspects of City operations. This insurance includes general liability, liquor liability, auto, theft, business interruption and workers compensation.
Credit Rating
St. Anthony's credit rating is rated as AA through Standards and Poor. Sound financial practices, conservative budgeting and timely payment of the City's bills contribute to the superlative credit rating.
The major benefit of the AA credit rating is that the City can borrow money at reduced interest rates. This reduction in interest expense contributes to lower costs to the residents for special assessment projects, such as the on-going road improvement projects and capital outlay costs.
