Residence needing to register on Election Day, must provide proof of residence. Here are forms of identification that can be used at the polling place:
Valid Minnesota Driver's License, Learner's Permit or receipt of either with current address located in precinct.
Valid Minnesota ID or receipt with current address located in precinct.
A registered voter in the precinct who can vouch that you are a residence in that polling place.
Registration in the same precinct indicated a previous name or address.
Mailed notice from the Registration Office indicating late registration.
A tribal ID with name, address, signature, and picture of the individual.
Voter's may register with a combination of two documents: one photo ID from Column 1 and one current bill from Column 2.

Approved photo IDs must contain current name and photo. It may contain voter's old address or not have address.

Acceptable bills must show voter's current name and address in precinct. (Bills include account statements and start-of-service notifications, with a due date 30 days before or after the Election, or, for bills of notifications without a due date, dated within 30 days of Election Day.)
