- Affordable Housing discussions-In the fall of 2023, our City Council and Planning Commission had multiple meetings to discuss preservation of naturally occurring affordable housing. The discussions also included rental licensing and are expected to continue into 2024.
- Senior Services-The City Council continued to work with community partners to understand what programming is available to Seniors and what future needs may be. These discussions will continue into 2024.
- Pedestrian & Bike Friendly Routes-Walking/Biking continues to be a high priority for our community. This initiative is included in our Climate Plan under Transportation and will discussed in the future as the implementation of the plan occurs.

- Completed multi-channel communications for launch of Single Hauler Plan
- Completed Inflow & Infiltration Education & Information Dissemination
- Completed compilation of the 2023 St. Anthony Village Climate Plan
- Held 1st Annual Sights of St. Anthony Photo Contest with 30 entrants
- Created Night to Unite Party Map & Online Registration
- Partnered with St. Anthony Middle School and St Charles Borromeo Catholic School on Snow Plow Naming Contest for Public Safety & Awareness
- Launched new Intranet for internal communications
- Launched St. Anthony Village Instagram account
- Unveiled new electronic sign at City Hall
- Began work on multi-channel Water Service Line Inventory Information distribution including web resources, social media, and print outreach for launch January 2024

- Fire Department Medical Skillset Expansion-Program with Hennepin County to for Fire Department to deliver paramedic care during those crucial minutes prior to the arrival of an ambulance- implemented in February 2023.
- Expanded the use of Lexipol to our Fire Department for online policy software.
- Develop exit plan for existing TIF districts-Working with Ehlers to draft report for Council consideration
- In 2023, City Council toured all city facilities to see first hand the maintenance and future needs. Oertel architects completed an assessment of all facilities and outlined recommendations for addressing the maintenance and future needs of the buildings. This information helped staff to include these items in our Capital Improvement Plan.
- Staffing-2023 brought quite a few retirements of long term staff. The council and staff worked to recruit employees for these open positions that are qualified and share the same values as our community.
