Ideal Location

Welcome to the City of Saint Anthony Village!  Our city is a first-ring suburb  of Minneapolis, and home to more than 9,000 residents. We are unique in that two-thirds of the city is located in Hennepin County and one-third is located in Ramsey County, with 37th Avenue being the dividing line.

Saint Anthony Village is situated five miles northeast of downtown Minneapolis and eight miles northwest of downtown St. Paul. Both metro University of Minnesota campuses are a 10 to 15 minute drive from us. The City is easily accessible via I-35W, County Road D, Highway 88, Highway 280, I-94, Silver Lake Road and I-694 and Highway 10 via Silver Lake Road.

Despite its proximity to the downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, the Village retains all of the advantages of a smaller community.

Amenities

Our uniqueness can be attributed to beautiful Silver Lake, Francis A. Gross Public Golf Course, Silver Lake Village, parks, bike trails, a highly distinguished K-12 independent school district, and convenient location.

Area

The City is 2.35 square miles with 24.5 miles of City streets. Communities that border Saint Anthony Village include Northeast Minneapolis to the south, Roseville to the east, Columbia Heights to the northwest and New Brighton to the northeast.

"The Village"

Saint Anthony Village, also affectionately called "The Village" by locals, is known for it's small-town feel in the heart of the Twin Cities metro area. Both new and long-time residents take a great deal of pride in the community, which is rich with history and fascinating stories.
