Permits & Licenses

We all depend on the safety of the structures around us—our homes, offices, schools, stores, factories, and places of entertainment.

To protect public health, safety, and general welfare, the Minnesota State Building Code establishes essential minimum standards. The City of Saint Anthony Village has adopted these state codes, along with our local zoning regulations, to ensure safe and responsible development.

These codes also promote energy efficiency, fire safety, and protection for both property and emergency responders during critical situations.

Our Building Department is here to ensure that all structures in our community meet or exceed these minimum safety and code requirements.
