First Aid and CPR Training

The St. Anthony Fire Department provides First Aid and CPR training. We recognize the importance of everyone in our community being prepared to help save a life. We proudly offer free Hands-Only CPR classes for the public. Sessions will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to recognize an emergency, call for help, and perform life-saving CPR until first responders arrive.

Each year we train about 200 people in these subjects. These people include day care providers, high school students, preschool staff and scouting groups.

In addition, the St. Anthony Fire Department has American Heart Association Certified Instructors who can provide the following CPR and First Aid certifications:

  • Heartsaver CPR and First Aid
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider

Please note that any certification courses include a fee to cover materials and certification costs.

To schedule a class or learn more about upcoming training opportunities, please contact Deputy Chief Mattie Jaros for more information.
