Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current Paramedic/Firefighter
Licensed National Registry Paramedic
Current Paramedic/Firefighter I & II Certification
Able to complete Fire Inspector training program and Blue Card Certification within one year based on availability
Valid Driver’s License

The hiring process itself consists of a background check, an oral interview, a written exam, a physical evaluation, and a psychological assessment. Officers of the Department conduct oral interviews.
Upon being hired, all candidates will undergo training consisting of firefighting skills, hazmat, EMS, driving, and operation of fire apparatus.
